This mobile app is built and maintained by Commotion for Ramar Communications, Inc.
We value your privacy. We only ask for what we need to operate and improve the service. We also offer opt-in features like push notifications or non-generic usernames via a login services by Apple and Facebook.
When you connect to our service, our system creates a generic device profile and generic name like user_nunya. This profile is used to ensure your generic name stays associated with messages you post in chat when you do things like app updates. No personally identifiable information is associated with your device profile.
It is important to note that if you connect your app to a third-party login service, your real, or profile, name and profile image will be visible to other users of the system in the activity (chat) stream. If you don’t want users to see this -- do not connect the app to a third-party login service.
When you connect your Apple or Facebook, we request a profile name and a profile image from the service. What we get depends on what the service provides. Our system replaces your generated name and image with the information provided to us. These will be displayed along with any messages you post as long as you keep the app connected to the service.
You are NOT required to connect the app to a third-party account to use all the features of the app. They are there for your convenience if you want something other than a generic username.
We use profiles and device identifiers for several things. Those are to provide a username and image for conversation with other listeners and DJs. To provide push notifications if you opt-in. To collect application and advertisement performance data along with crash statistics. Commotion does not deliver targeted advertisements.
We also store in-app preferences on your mobile device so you don’t lose your settings during an app update. However, these are removed when you uninstall the app.
Secure access to anonymous app usage and advertising performance statistics are made available via reporting tools to the client for their app(s). Commotion staff also has access to this data for the purposes of assisting the client or performing training or troubleshooting the service. Commotion does not sell or rent this information or your personal information to third parties.
Commotion retains non-personally identifiable data as long as necessary to provide the products and fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other legitimate purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Personally identifiable data can be removed upon request by contacting support@commotion.com
